Same Same But Different is a music festival in Lake Perris, CA that attracts 7,500 attendees. This quirky and soulful festival is community-owned and one of California’s only independent festivals of its size. SSBD is known for its unique approach, staggering stage performance times to reduce conflicts, and packing the festival with 75+ workshops, 40+ interactive art installations, and plenty of side quest opportunities!

About Bass n Babes: Bass n Babes is a bass music collective that aims to uplift queer, femme, and underrepresented DJs/producers. By bringing queer and feminine energy to bass music culture, we push the scene forward and tap into talent that has historically been overlooked. Bass n Babes is an event series, music label, artist collective, and so much more! Over the past two years, we began interviewing the artists who inspire us at festivals to share their voices with the world through our platform. Klo is a Los Angeles-based producer/DJ in her breakout year! With festival plays at EDC Las Vegas, Lollapalooza, Breakaway, Lost Lands, and Bass Canyon, she has become an artist to look out for. Known for her UK Bass and UK Garage flips and originals, she has received support from some of the industry’s most respected names – including Disclosure, Notion, Fred Again, Hamdi, Joy Anonymous and more.

Steller
Friday 9PM @ Same Stage
Steller is an artist known for her combination of uplifting introspection, psychedelia, and funky bass. With collaborations and support from Zingara, Daily Bread, LSDREAM, and Mersiv, she has carved out her niche in the bass music scene. Her 2026 headline “Shifting The Lens” tour, along with stops at numerous festivals across the country has brought her to new heights, making her a must-see at SSBD this year!

Baby Kush
Saturday 8:05PM @ Inner Bass Stage
Dubstep space faerie Baby Kush makes her return to SSBD, bringing her bold blend of deep wobbles, bouncy basslines, and hypnotic wubs. Since her last appearance, the visionary founder of Bass n Babes has headlined shows in Portland, Vancouver and Denver and supported the likes of Flozone, Josh Teed, NotLö, Shmani, So Sus, and WonkyWilla. Her unapologetically femme and queer approach shines through in her latest original releases “Magic” and “okay diva”, both released on Bass n Babes Records.

Bass Temple

Denver-based producer Bass Temple brings her unique mix of cinematic textures, psychedelic synths, and high-energy, low-end sound design to SSBD. Her seamless and high vibrational sets have earned her support credits from the likes of Clozee, Champagne Drip, Wreckno, and Zen Selekta. She has captivated audiences at festivals such as Lightning in a Bottle, Sonic Bloom, Northern Nights, The Untz, and Voyage by Odyzey. Martha
Friday 6PM @ Inner Bass Stage
DJ, producer, and computer scientist Martha makes her SSBD debut this year! She sports a varied repertoire of bass music, including everything from breaks to 140. She’s supported the likes of Crankdat, Haylee Wood, Hex Cougar, and MEMBA. With a unique programming-forward approach to music, she is poised to explore the depths of the intersection between technology and music.

Shortcvke
Thursday 4PM @ Inner Bass Stage
San Diego-based shortcvke makes her return to SSBD as part of the TigerFox Pre-Party. As a staple in the West Coast underground bass music scene, she has earned support credits with Ternion Sound, The Widdler, Pushloop, Onhell, Zen Selekta, Chef Boyarbeatz, Wreckno, and Slang Dogs. She serves up dark 140 and heavy Deep Dubstep with precision, tension, and narrative flow.

Ursa Major
Thursday 5PM @ Inner Bass Stage
Ursa Major is a Portland-based DJ and producer who makes her festival debut as part of the TigerFox Pre-Party! The junglist has collected a wealth of interesting multi-genre support credits including Yheti B2B Toadface, Tokimonsta, Mr. Carmack, Dimension, Starjunk95, Mersiv, & Sub Focus. Her deep basses and spacey sounds define her in all genres she spins, so be ready for an intergalactic journey through everything from drum & bass to experimental bass to techno.

Zoska
Friday 8:05PM @ Inner Bass Stage
Zoska is bringing jazzy dubstep to SSBD! With recent collaborations with Dirt Monkey, Father Funk, Maddy O’Neal, and Prob Cause, Zoska found her pocket in the wonky bass music world. Her friendly and fun demeanor has brought her to festivals like Cloud City, Valley of the Seven Stars, Ubbi Dubbi, and Wakaan. The Chicago-based producer, DJ, and vocalist has supported Daily Bread, Big Gigantic, and Champagne Drip on tour, allowing her to display her talents to a wider audience.
