Bass Babes To See at Electric Forest 2026
By Caroline Mongillo
About Bass N Babes And Electric Forest:
Electric Forest is a large-scale music festival based in Rothbury, Michigan that has been curating an eclectic lineup of Electronic, Funk, Hip Hop, Rap, R&B, Indie music and beyond for over 15 years. With its initial production under the name, Rothbury Music Festival, in 2008, the fest has come a long way, but there are still strides to be made in regards to inclusivity within artist representation. 2026’s lineup yields 17.3% fem/non-binary, putting the total below the quarter mark. The gap is still quite large here and we hope to see further growth in equity in the future. To spotlight some of the wonderful artists within that 17.3%, please check out our curated list below.
Bass n Babes is a bass music collective that aims to uplift queer, femme, and other underrepresented DJs/producers. By bringing queer and feminine energy to bass music culture, we push the scene forward and tap into talent that has historically been overlooked.
