Bass Babes to see at Same Same But Different 2025

When you think about a music festival, what comes to mind? Is it the special memories you shared with your closest friends? Maybe you think about the mind-blowing sets or going to bed after the sunrise. Probably all of the above and so much more. But what about the artists playing that festival? For them, this is the culmination of years of hard work, years of making their music and voice stand out from amongst the crowd. To play a festival is to see their dreams come to life. For femme and nonbinary artists, after fighting against stacked odds and an industry only just beginning to embrace inclusivity, this could not be more of a reality. When you hear the beat and feel the bass this year at Same Same But Different Festival, take a second to think about what the festival means to you and to these artists. Take a second to witness someone achieving their dreams.

We at Bass n Babes love nothing more than supporting the incredible community of femme and nonbinary artists that are storming their way through the world of EDM. It is thanks to them that we see ourselves represented on the stage. It certainly doesn’t hurt that they also play some filthy beats. In the spirit of uplifting this community, Bass n Babes has put together a can’t-miss lineup of femme and nonbinary artists that you should definitely see at this year’s Same Same But Different Festival.

Out of SSBD’s 118 artists/musical acts, there are 27 nonbinary and women artists. This equates to about 23% of the lineup, compared to the average EDM festival which has about 19% women and nonbinary artists on their lineup. SSBD has a fantastic lineup of femme and nonbinary artists you will not want to miss, including those from Bass n Babes itself! This year Bass n Babes is taking over the Inner Bass stage at SSBD with an incredible lineup of its resident DJs going back-to-back, including Baby Kush b2b shortcvke, Auracle b2b Lex Looper, and farley. b2b Violet.
